EMI Must Be Paid is designed to collect nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no crash-reporting service, no advertising and no third-party SDKs in the game. The Android app does not request the Internet permission, so it cannot send information anywhere. Everything you do in the game stays on your phone.

To let you continue playing, the game saves your progress inside the app's own private storage on your phone: legacy points, upgrades in the Legacy Web, unlocked hammers and their mastery, collected coins and charms, goal progress, and your settings (sound, music, vibration, screen shake).
The Daily Gullak gift uses your phone's local date to know whether you have already claimed today. This date never leaves your phone.
This data is never uploaded, and app backup is turned off, so it is also not copied to a cloud backup by the game. You can erase it at any time from Settings → Reset all progress, by clearing the app's storage in Android settings, or by uninstalling the game.
We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect any. The game is distributed through Google Play; Google may process information about your download and device according to its own privacy policy, which is outside our control. The game runs entirely on-device using open-source components (the Capacitor Android runtime and Android WebView) that do not send data to us.
The current version has no advertising and no in-app purchases. If a future version adds ads, analytics or purchases, we will update this policy and the Data safety section on Google Play before that version is released, and the date at the top of this page will change.
The game is rated for a general audience and is listed for ages 13 and above. It has no ads, no chat, no user accounts, no external links and no purchases, and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Because nothing is transmitted and no account exists, there is no server-side data to protect or leak. Your save data sits in the app's private storage, which Android isolates from other apps.
As we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on our side. You control the only data that exists, your local save, and can erase it at any time as described in section 3. If you are in India, the EU/UK or elsewhere and believe we hold data about you, please contact us and we will respond under applicable law.
We may update this policy when the game changes. The latest version will always be available at this address, with the "last updated" date shown at the top.
